Could anyone tell me is it necessay for me to take Linux classes in order for me to be able to do Oracle. I know that you do not have to in order to get the certification. However this school I am thinkig of attending thiks I need that in order to have a foundation for the Oracle DBA. I have worked with databases before, but not as in depth as I would with Oralce.

Thanks,

DIana

You don't need to know Linux, to become a DBA. But knowing Linux might lead you to explore on Unix, not a bad idea!
